Spend your first night in Africa and let the adventure begin……

Day 2 – Cape Town- Helicopter Winelands experience

Starting with a glass of bubbly from the V&A Waterfront, while your pilot does his/her routine check of the helicopter. This flight is for you alone with beautiful landscapes literally flying past, taking you into the heart  of the winelands.

Stellenbosch’s and Franschhoek’s Wine estates are exceptionally picturesque - beautiful Cape Dutch architecture combined with French savoir vivre.

Enjoy a wine tasting and lunch before flying back to Cape Town.

Day 3 - Cape Town - Cape Peninsula with private yacht

The private cruise will take you along the shore the first Portuguese explorers saw sailing past the most South Western point of Africa. Experience the ultimate in luxury: A full day charter, custom designed to your exact requirements. Drop anchor in a small, private bay, avoid the crowds and see the Cape like others can only dream of.

The cruise includes snacks and drinks, special catering can be pre-arranged.

Day 4 – NamibRand

Continue your African experience with the next  must see Southern Africa Country: Namibia-land of deserts and wide open spaces.

NamibRand Nature Reserve covers almost 200 000 hectares, bordering the Namib Naukluft Park, South of Sossusvlei. It is  one of Africa’s largest conservation area and possibly one of Namibia’s most spectacular and best known  attraction.

The reserve is free of fences, allowing the Wildlife to roam unhindered. Now, today is all about travel and your limousine will transfer you and your concierge back to Cape Town Airport, where your private aircraft awaits to whisk you away to your lodge. Thereafter you will have time to indulge in safari activities, a delicious diner and some stargazing, perhaps?

Day 5 -  NamibRand – Hot Air Ballloon Adventure

Wake up before dawn and set out in the early morning moonlight to a designated launch site and watch as the balloons are brought to life. Giant, hot burst of flames slowly inflate the brightly colored nylon, strung to robust baskets, resting on their side. As the sun’s first rays peek over the scarlet sand dunes, your hot air balloon drifts slowly upward, revealing the undulating landscapes. As the balloon soars at varying heights and gradually rotates with the morning breeze you are constantly provided with a new perspective of the desert. Many animals look up, wondering what this neon ball might be as it passes overhead . Your pilot will look out for the perfect landing spot, just in time for a grand celebratory bubbly breakfast.

Day 6 – Chief’s Island

It is early morning and the pilot will start the engines, taking you on a scenic flight to Chief’s Island, the largest island in famous Okavango Delta/Moremi Game Reserve. Step into the former royal hunting reserve of Chief Moremi, where wildlife and wilderness are as remarkable and abundant as action and adrenalin. Enjoy personal service, an extraordinary setting, exceptional game viewing and enthusiastic expert guides combined with a unique attention to detail to provide you with the ultimate luxury safari experience.

The game viewing in 4x4 open safari vehicles in the mornings and afternoons are awe-inspiring. Gliding through the channels in mokoros, our dug out canoes are the gentle and quiet way to discover game.

Day 7– Chief’s Island

Early morning and the bush awakens. A gentle knock on your door and a cup of steaming tea or coffee will prepare you for your early morning game drive adventure. On the plains one may find roaming lions, preying on the thousands of antelope, zebra and buffalo. Here you also find  healthy populations of wild dogs. These extremely rare predators have been hunted to the point of extinction in most parts of Africa and this is one of their last strongholds.

Return to the camp for breakfast and relax before the afternoon game drive.

Day 8 – Thornybush

Todays plane ride will take us back to South Africa for one of the most amazing safari experiences you can imagine-a truly “Out of Africa style”, classic safari with the beauty of a bygone era.

Situated in Thornybush Private Game Reserve on the Western Border of the Greater Kruger National Park, the lodge is easily accessible by plane.

This exclusive adventure will provide you with detailed insights into the complex and fascinating ecosystems of the South African Bushveld. Guides and trackers will provide you with thrilling encounters with the Big Five, only to come back to the lodge to be spoiled by creations of the lodge’s chef to delight you with nightly feasts under the African stars.

Day 9 – Thornybush

The best way to describe a special day at Royal Malewane would be to take you on a journey from dawn to dusk:

Wake up at 05h00  to meet your ranger at 05h30.

Game drives take place in open Land Cruisers or Land Rovers. The best game viewing usually takes place around sunrise and sunset when the wildlife is most active. Return for breakfast at around 09h30, followed by time at leisure. For those looking to get up close and personal with nature, a bushwalk is conducted at 11h00, followed by lunch.

Head out again at around 16h30 on your second game drive of the day as the African sun begins to plunge below the horizon. A sundowner is served at a nice spot and, as darkness sets in, powerful spotlights will be used to get a glimpse of the wildlife. Dinner time is determined by your sightings and will wait for you upon your return to the lodge.

Day  10 – Vamizi Island - Quirimbas

Our last destination to discover is Vamizi Island, and your pilot will get you safely to this amazingly beautiful location. The waters surrounding the island boast some of the most significant and endangered habitats and wildlife in the Western Indian Ocean. Experience one of the healthiest coral reef ecosystems in the world, featuring Neptune’s arms, one of the best dive sites in the world.

Enjoy barefoot luxury with world class facilities.

Day 11 – 13 Vamizi Island – Quirimbas

A region that hums with life and beauty invites you to explorer all it has to offer:

Ocean adventures consists of sunset cruises on traditional dhow sailboats or estuary boats-this is a completely different way of experiencing wildlife! The water is so clear that you can see all the fish and coral as you glide above them. Hobie cats are another option for that “wind in your hair feeling”.

Coastal forest trails invite you to stroll along. Look out for Samango Monkeys and giant Coconut crabs as well as a multitude of forest and coastal birds.

For the romantics at heart a delicious tailor-made picnic can be arranged somewhere secret or next to the lighthouse.

Day 14 – Departure

….and there is always a sad part to a story, in this case it would be the end of your holiday. You will be transferred back to the airstrip, where your pilot is already waiting for you.
