Mayor Patricia de Lille’s spokeswoman, Zara Nicholson, said: “This is a truly amazing commendation for Cape Town. Our food culture is one of the most diverse and distinct in the world and we are home to some of the world’s best restaurants and hotels boosted by our breathtaking natural views.”
