Namibia Cruise Ship News
ATC Namibia started 2016 with a BANG! The first three months of the New Year passed with the speed of a rocket and a lot of interesting things have happened.
The first quarter of 2016 was jam-packed with mainly German guests visiting our beautiful country.
In January the MSC Sinfonia again landed at Walvis Bay harbour packed to the max capacity with 2500 South African passengers on board enjoying the legendary Jazz Cruise. The ATC Team was at hand organizing all the fun and extraordinary ground operations. Two of the Intercruise Staff members boarded the MSC to accompany the guests to Lüderitz where more excursions awaited the participants such as the popular Ghost Town visit.
Unfortunately, due to thick mist, the call at Lüderitz had to be cancelled and a unexpected, exciting Tugboat Taxi transfer was organised to get the ATC staff members back to shore. Next time Lüderitz it is your call.
