Unrivalled for its diversity of wildlife and a world leader in advanced environmental management techniques, Kruger National Park is one of the world’s best renowned game reserves and home to Africa’s Big Five.
Here you will discover huge herds of wild animals in their natural habitat, gracious giraffe, elephant with adorable youngsters chivvied along by the adults, zebra, buffalo, the endangered rhino and many species of buck grazing on the plains, countless monkeys and baboons enjoying the trees, hippos surfacing in the rivers, prides of lions camouflaged in the golden grass. There is a large variety of birdlife, crocodiles in the Oliphant’s River, ‘giggling’ hyenas, and if you are lucky, you may even spot a pack of the endangered wild dogs on the prowl.
There is an enormous amount to see, and, on a still and starlit evening, to hear, from your evening camp.
The Kruger National Park enjoys an all-year-round sunny climate and offers a variety of activities, ranging from guided safari drives and bush walks with an armed ranger, to three-night walking trails into the deep wilderness areas.
For many visitors, a safari in Kruger National Park is a life-changing experience.
