LUXURY TRAVEL NAMIBIA
Namibia is a country of contrasting landscapes bursting with natural wonders. Stretching from the sky-high dunes of the Namib, the oldest desert in the world, to the coastline of the icy Atlantic Ocean, Namibia is one of Africa's best-kept secrets.
An unexpected luxury trip is found in the southern sand dunes of Sossusvlei, where an exhilarating early morning hot air balloon ride will give you uninterrupted views of the breathtaking massive red desert. To the west, where waves from a dark blue ocean break onto the silent red desert shore, the hauntingly beautiful Skeleton coastline is scattered with the remains of ancient shipwrecks and whale bones.
The charming coastal towns of Walvis Bay and Swakopmund are brimming with outdoor adventure activities including Ocean Dolphin Cruising, Deep Sea Fishing, Sand Dune Quad biking, Canoeing, Sand Boarding, Nature Trails, Parasailing, Off-Road 4x4 Trails and cultural visits to local communities.
The vast Etosha National Park in the north supports an unexpected variety of wildlife adapted to the harsh desert conditions. The world’s largest outdoor rock art display and UNESCO World Heritage Site is found in the largely un-inhabited Damaraland, between Etosha National Park and the Skeleton Coast.
Namibia brims with photographic opportunity - astonishing scenery, diverse desert wildlife, fascinating cultures, vast red sand dunes and alien seascapes provide a photographer’s dream. The country’s good infrastructure and stable economy make it an increasingly popular tourist destination.
